Large-format scanning refers to the digitization of A2, A1, and A0-sized as well as larger documents, images, and drawings. Ordinary office scanners are unable to handle these large materials, but our large-format scanner is designed precisely for these use cases. The material to be scanned can be, for example:

High-quality large-format scanning in Helsinki – directly from us without middlemen
Our large-format scanning service operates in Helsinki in our own premises (Malminkatu 30), as part of the HelppoSkannaus and Sokkeli service package. All scanning is done on site, without outside middlemen, which guarantees the safe and fast handling of your material.
If you bring the materials directly to our premises, you may get the finished files already on the same day. You can also send the materials by post – we will handle them quickly and safely.

Material Requirements
- Documents and images larger than A3 size, e.g., architectural drawings, posters, and maps
- Scannable material must be intact and flexible paper or other material. Scannable materials can include paper, plastic, or sketch paper.
Additional service: Pre-processing for damaged materials, e.g., dirty, torn, wrinkled, or hardened old drawings/images, charged hourly or as agreed upon.
Additional Considerations
In large-format scanning, OCR (Optical Character Recognition) text recognition (where files are converted so that PDFs recognize text as searchable) may not always succeed.

How large materials can you scan?
We scan documents up to 1219 mm wide and almost unlimited in length. If necessary, we can scan larger materials in parts and combine them digitally.
In what condition must the material be?
We can handle fragile or folded documents carefully. If the material is extremely fragile, we recommend contacting us before delivery.
Can large-format scanning be done in color?
Yes – color scanning is often the best choice especially for artworks, maps, or posters. We also offer grayscale and black-and-white scanning.
How do I get the scanned files?
We can deliver the files on a USB stick, to be downloaded via a safe link, or directly by email – however you want.
What does scanning cost?
